Severely hit by the financial turmoil in Hong Kong, TAI KU-TUNG’s (Ha Yu) restaurant is running short of capital while YIP MO-SING (Hui Shiu Hung) is interested in acquiring the restaurant’s location. He decides to invest in it, ignorant of the restaurant’s financial situation.

With the restaurant’s problem temporarily solved, TUNG concentrates on working out new dishes and ideas for the restaurant. He discovers TSUI HEI-HEI (Sheung Tin Ngor), a novice cook with a signature egg fried rice recipe. She even wins the appreciation of the Michelin food critic experts. As a result, TUNG treats her extremely well.

One day, a bank representative, LEI YUNG-CHI (Ng Wing Mei) pops into the restaurant and claims that HEI has a debt with the bank. She picks a fight with CHI in a heated argument. In the fight, HEI is injured and loses her memory.

For fear of losing the restaurant’s reputation, TUNG decides to put on a show and pretends to be HEI’s elder brother while SING acts as her husband. Cello teacher YIP TSIK-LEUNG (Sammul Chan) plays HEI’s son and his girlfriend, TAI YING-LEI (Natalie Tong) is assigned the role of HEI’s cousin.

In the meantime, YUNG is fired from the bank but now claims that she is a shareholder and plans to reform the entire restaurant. Now all three owners want to make decisions but all three have different ideas. A triangular power struggle is developed in the process.

劇中跟飾演體育及通識科教師的楊怡十分老友，不過我們卻同時鍾情於陳豪，另一方面，吳卓羲又對楊怡有傾慕之意，形成一段複雜的四角關係。

一班學生代表學校參加保齡球比賽，作為教練當然要到場鼓勵學生，增加士氣。

劇中一直對陳豪有好感，後來對方向我展開追求，不過原來陳豪只是借機利用我。

在劇中性格高傲冷酷的我，因家庭背景複雜關係，加上朋友不多，所以只好沉醉於保齡球世界。

One of the leads is known for difficult to get along with---Jessica Hsuan. But at the filming studio, she got along well with another female lead Myolie Wu. A TVB reporter planned to interview Jessica and coincidentally, Jessica's hair accessory dropped to the floor. Myoli picked it up for Jessica immediately and the two also chat for a while. 今次角色跟以往很不同，平時秋香給人感覺好文靜，不過今次監製家豪哥（劉家豪）為秋香這個角色加了新元素。我所做的秋香平時也很溫柔，不過當要保護華府的人，則會第一個挺身而出，出去打敵人。其實今次也打得幾開心，因為加了這個新元素，給人不一樣的感覺，而且家豪哥善於拍像《秀才遇著兵》這類輕鬆喜劇，雖然之前星爺套戲好受歡迎，也預了給人作比較，不過始終由不同的人演，也有不同火花，所以我對這套劇有一定期望，希望觀眾可以睇得開心！

痛下苦功
要成為這個新派秋香，事前也下了苦功，特別跟師父學功夫，務求可以在劇中打得出色。

拍攝前，跟師父學了一個月功夫，每日練習三至四個鐘，初初訓練也很辛苦，因為我腳的筋骨還未拉鬆，每次練完也會覺得腰酸背痛，不過慢慢開始拉鬆腳筋，踢腳愈踢愈高，到最後可以做到一字馬，好有滿足感，感覺到學功夫好玩之處。而且拍打戲的時候，感覺自己好似跳舞一樣，拍出來的效果又很有型，更覺得之前所下苦功都是值得。雖然現在忙於工作，少練功夫，不過如果得閒的話，我也會繼續學下去。

雖然在劇中很多武打場面，不過也有做足準備功夫，保護自己，所以也沒有在拍攝期間受過傷。

以往都有一幕『唐伯虎點秋香』的場口，新劇中有這幕劇之餘，也有場是倒轉，由秋香點唐伯虎，好反傳統。

Who is Raymond Lam? Where did he come from?

Raymond was born on December 8, 1979 in Xiamen, China. He was born in the year of the goat.

Lam Wui Man has grown, and changed his name to Lam Yat Fung during his high school years. He stands at 180cm or 5’11”. His skin was very tanned. He often joined singing competitions at school. The honorable thing is that Yat Fung received and gained the recognition of “The top 10 best voices of the school.” With this title, Wui Man became the “popular boy” having to answer his fans’ mails to the point where his hand became tired, he had to ask his friends to help him.

When he finished high school, Lam Yat Fung went to study abroad in Southern California at University of Southern California [it is a private school] He was majoring in architecture as to take over his dad’s business one day, and minored in music. At this time, Yat Fung, again, changed his name to Lam Fung with an English name, Raymond [he used to have another English name before sticking with Raymond…it was Leon].

However, he attended college for only one year. In the summer, after his first year in college, he flew back to Hong Kong. Because of Chan Kwoon Ming's words, a friend of Raymond’s dad, Raymond gave up on achitecture, and joined TVB.
He introduced Raymond to go into TVB 13th acting class [with Tavia Yeung, Patrick Tang Yeung Ming]. Raymond joined the TVB family at the age of 18.

Raymond's words: There had been rumors saying that he's Li Hau Wor (one of the TVB owners)'s godson, Raymond honestly replied:

"Actually, my father knows Chan Kwoon Ming, who was one of the actors manager in the past. In 1998, we had a dinner together, and Mr. Chan asked me if I have any interest in being an actor. I've always knew that I'm not the type to do business, and since Mr. Chan thought I have the potential, I decided to join the training class. I worked hard by myself, without any help from others. Acting is my first job, and the one I'm most familar with, if I don't act, I don't know what else I can do, and I know that I still have a lot to learn."

Raymond and rhinoplasty surgery? (cosmetic surgery to improve the appearance of the nose)

Raymond said that he has sinusitis [inflammation of the sinuses or a sinus, especially in the nasal region]. Since he had sinusitis, it was hard for him to normally breathe. Therefore, Raymond had to have a surgery to fix this problem.
That's why reporters made up the rumor that Raymond had a rhinoplasty. Just because Raymond had surgery on his nasal, reporters assumed that he had rhinoplasty surgery.
